Ms. Laura Wells

Hello my name is Laura Wells and I am honored to serve as the first principal at JAA ECC!

I have been in primary education for over 15 years, 18 to be exact. Prior to teaching and administration in education, I owned and operated a construction company with my family.

So education is my second career, and one that I happily choose!

My love for education began right here at JAA, as a parent and PTO president. The principal at the time (Mr. Greenfield) asked me to tutor some ESL students (to help translate in Spanish) and that lit the flame for my love of teaching.

I have a Bachelor of Arts in Bilingual Education and a Master of Education in Administration from Texas Wesleyan University in Fort Worth Texas.

I have 3 children; Tiffany, Martin and Alissa who graduated from our beloved Kennedale High School.  And am the proud “mama” of my fur babies;  Sookie (14), Katie (8), and Maggie (2).

This is a new endeavor and an equal partnership, and I cannot do this without you! My door is always open and I hope that you are as excited as I am to begin this new journey!
